Thank you for choosing to visit the Dubbo Golf Club.

We have a lot of pride in our golf course and ask you to respect same. To assist in proper maintenance you are asked to observe the following:

• Sand buckets must be carried at all times
  
  
• Divots must be repaired
  
  
• Please repair plug marks on greens
  
  
• Rake bunkers after use
  
  
• Observe the etiquette of golf and the clubs dress regulations
  
  
• If using motorised carts:
  
  
  • Stay on cart paths where ever possible
    
    
  • Carts are not allowed any closer than within 20 metres of a green
    
    
  • Signs directing carts must be adhered to
    
    
  • No more than 2 people per cart allowed and must be seated at all times
    
    
  • You must be 18 years of age to drive

These apply to all players and non-players, including caddies and visitors

A MEMBER INVITING A GUEST MUST ENSURE HIS/HER GUEST IS MADE AWARE OF THESE DRESS RULES AND ABIDE BY THEM.

Neat, casual attire is essential both on the course and in the clubhouse and applies to males and females.

THE COURSE

• Trousers must not be tucked into socks
• Shorts with cord ties are permitted but the cord is not to be exposed
• Shorts to be no longer than knee length
• Collared shirts must be worn tucked inside trousers/shorts/skirts unless shirts are specifically banded for wearing over trousers/shorts/skirts
• Bold advertising, slogans or cartoons on shirts, back or front, are not permitted.

THE CLUBHOUSE

Dress which is acceptable for wearing on the course is also suitable for the clubhouse.

Jeans are acceptable as neat casual dress in the clubhouse provided they are not ripped or faded.

The attention of visitors to the club, who do not play golf, is drawn to the list of dress items not considered neat casual attire.

The following dress is not considered neat casual attire:

• MALE: Track suits, T-shirts, tank tops, sports shorts
• FEMALE: Above items plus leggings, leisure/track suits, brief shorts and strapless tops

FOOTWEAR (GENERAL)

• Thongs, sandals and rippled soled shoes are not permitted on the golf course 
• Golf shoes may be worn in all carpeted areas on the ground floor
• Golf shoes are not permitted in the main clubhouse entrance, on staircases or any other area on the first floor
• Long or short white socks must be worn with shorts. Long socks must be pulled up
• Small logos on socks are acceptable but must be sport related.

THESE STANDARDS ARE SET FOR THE PRESTIGE AND BETTERMENT OF THE CLUB AND IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT MEMBERS AND GUESTS ADHERE TO THESE REGULATIONS

Persons not correctly attired will be required to leave the clubhouse or the course!

HOUSE RULES 

The hours of opening and closing of the club house may be varied by the management of the Dubbo Golf Club Limited

Each player is required to have their own set of golf clubs. Sets are available for hire from the pro shop if required.

No man or lady shall within the precincts of the club house offer any liquid refreshments to any steward under any condition.

No canvassing for donations, raffles, or subscriptions is allowed in or about the club premises, unless permission is granted by the Board of Directors of Dubbo Golf Club Limited. Betting on the club premises is strictly prohibited.

Members are advised that under no condition will children be permitted in the bar lounge.

In no instance shall an employee of the club be directly reprimanded by a member or lady member of Dubbo Golf Club Limited.

BAR HOURS 

The bar will be closed promptly at the time indicated. Member and ladies are reminded that they should be off the club premises within half hour of the bar closing time. Adherence to this rule is in the interest of the club and infringement brought to the notice of the Board of Directors of Dubbo Golf Club Limited will be dealt with in accordance with the constitution.

COMPLAINTS

All complaints must be conveyed in writing to the Secretary/Manager of Dubbo Golf Club Limited, who will submit the same without delay to the Board of Directors of Dubbo Golf Club Limited.
